I've visited or posted on the site for a long time, I've been other wise occupied. Upon coming back first of all I would like to say it's beem like coming home, everybody is so helpfull & friendly.
Observations: It appears that there are not that many "Europeans" on site, the same old suspects! All you people across the pond are really sqaured away with your Savages & your opinions, sorted!
This part of the message is really directed at Bob CH and those that replied to a thread of yours about wars. I've been in the British Army for 19 years and have served in N. Ireland,Falkland Isles and will be deploying to Kosovo in June. These tours plus Bosina, the Gulf etc, have not been carried out as wars but as peace keeping(see got the title in)operations. You'r correct war does not benefit anybody, especially these days as the international community will not tolerate it(as long as it has no direct repercussions anyway)so these days the NATO forces under what ever guise risk their lives not for glory but to protect and save lives. We're not always thatnked for it.
